It has been raining forever here in Houston and it has inspired me to write this blog... Although the weather has been horrible it has not stopped me from getting out of the house and enjoying life.
Many people are afraid of the rain and the cold and use them as excuses not to go anywhere and not to do anything but truth of the matter is we need the rain and the cold......... Although navigating in the rain is difficult it often creates a reality that if you can navigate through life's rain storms then when the calm comes the visibility is even clearer.. Smooth sailing as some would say.. Rain is the nurturer of new growth and new beginnings.. After a cold brutal winter that has sent animals into hibernation and plants into a frigid outward death the rain comes and revives the roots to start anew for the new year and the new season that lies ahead... Animals come out renewed ready for three seasons of flourishing.... So what we have a raining/ cold season one out of four seasons is not bad at all... Although the cold season may seem to set us back it actually destroys the branches and dead leaves that cannot sustain our future goals while the rain nurtures our roots and prepares us for a fruitful season... Things that are not fruitful must die in order to reproduce.. So there is nothing wrong with the rain and cold for they help us navigate the days full of sunshine.
Get out don't let the cold and rain hold you back let it help you flourish.. The cold and raining season is almost over.... Sunshine ALL DAY!!!
